1. Ivars
I mean seriously they have the best clam chowder ever!
2. Tillamook Cheese
I have recently discovered that they do have it here. Thanks Sis. Velasquez! But they don't sell it at Costco where you can get those huge blocks of cheese.
3. Teriyaki
They seriously don't have any good teriyaki places out here. It's just gross.
I mean look at the difference! The saucier one is so much better! And you get salad instead of weird vegetables.
4. Pike's Place Market
I miss going with my family on a sunny day to wander around and see the street performers, the gum wall, the metal pig, and to eat Beecher's Cheese.
5. Ferry Rides
I miss taking the Ferry with mom and getting Hot Chocolate in between ferry's and going to watch the baby while mom and dad were at the temple.
6. Plays
I miss going to plays. I remember going with my friends to see the Seattle Shakespeare Company perform plays and then I would go afterward and buy fudge. The plays were always relatively well priced but out here plays cost SO much! It's kind of ridiculous sometimes.
7. The Pine Trees
The Pine trees here just look sickly.
8. Mountains
I love how people here say they have mountains but really they don't.

9. Chickens
I miss having funny chickens. I know that's weird but it's true.
10. Family and Friends
I of course miss everyone over there in Washington. I miss my Grandma and Grandpa and all of my Aunts and Uncles. I miss my Tacoma and Port Orchard friends as well. Really you people just need to come visit me.
I'm thinking I might come visit next year and if that happens you people will have to take me to all of the aforementioned places that I miss. Now to get you caught up on things that you've missed. School has been going pretty well and I have good grades at the current moment so that's always awesome. Christmas was fun. In fact it was our first Christmas here. I got my favorite book vintage, a couple pair of socks, some cool jackets that I had been wanting from Anthro, and a lot of art supplies.
Besides that we've had several snow storms here that have canceled school equaling in a couple weeks of snow days. The poor kids who go to public school are probably going to be stuck till the end of June because of all the snow days. I get out in the beginning of May! Yay for homeschooling!
Not much has really happened since Christmas. I had a new years dance I went to. It was pretty fun. Ada turned 4 and we had a kids valentines party with a bajillion kids. I've also started saving up for EFY and a car. It's coming along fairly well. Also my piano hates me and wont play right. You music geeks will understand what I'm talking about. When I play Piano it plays Forte and when I play Forte it plays Piano. It's electric too so I don't know how to fix it. Oh well. Anyone got a free piano they want to give away?
Anyway next coming up is my birthday. A week and a day people! I'm going to be sixteen which is really weird. I'm such an old lady. Just kidding. I think for my birthday party I'm going to throw a dance which should be really fun. Hopefully some of my friends from EFY and other nearby states will be able to come. We'll see.
Anyway I don't think there's much else to tell. Any questions for me? I guess I've been pretty depressing and saying what I miss about Washington so I guess I should tell you what I love about Virginia.
