Things You Should Know About VIrginia

Virginia has speed humps not speed bumps. Traffic lights are longer. People are genuinely polite. Everyone here is tall. I have a harder time finding my dad when we go anywhere. When it rains everyone has an umbrella, except me of course. I mean come on I lived in Washington for twelve years. Rain is nothing. Virginia's sunny. Oh and warm! Virginia's gorgeous! I especially love the trees. They have trees you can climb here instead of pine trees that are impossible to climb, unless you're Townsend. And the trees haven't even blossomed yet. I can't wait for spring to come. My mom says only a couple more weeks and then all the blossoms, leaves, and flowers will come out. It's going to be awesome. It's also historic, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. We went to fort hunt yesterday. It was a top secret camp during WW2. Apparently they interrogated over 4,000 enemy prisoners there. It was quite interesting although it looked like living there would be quite miserable. Which I guess makes sense if it was a prisoner camp.  Although you would hope that they would at least try to make things bearable. I mean war is hard on everyone not just us. Anyway on a side note about speed bumps in some place in Maryland they're called Traffic Calming Spots. Can you imagine saying that!? It's like, "Oh here comes a traffic calming spot." It just sounds weird in a sentence. I learned this from YW's president who's daughter  lives in Maryland. So I think you've learned most things you should know about Virginia. If I spot anything else I'll let you know.  Things you should probably know about me is that I have stated piano lessons. I think I forgot to mention that in my past blog posts. I am now fifteen. I now have TONS of friends. Well not really but my ward is kind of small so it's kind of not possible to have tons of friends but I do have quite a few. So that's pretty much what I can think of about me. I did start learning a song from the movie Pride and Prejudice and I am very excited to start getting good at it. Well people I need to go knit like crazy for some of my friends B-day presents. They're twins and and I have to get the projects done by Friday. We'll see if that happens. Hopefully it will. So anyway hopefully I will post later.
